SUBJECT: BOARD SUPPORT OF USA SANCTIONED JUDGES

It has been brought to the attention of the United Showmanagers Alliance Board that a nasty rumor regarding the integrity of all GroomTeam Sanctioned grooming competitions and Judges is circulating our industry.

Rumor

1. Certain Judges are supposedly working together to ensure that only Competitors they deem “worthy” will be placed and that members of the Traveling Team have already been selected by them.
2. When judging at United Showmanagers Alliance competitions, these Judges will not place anyone at Group Level, other than Open Competitors.

USA Board Position

1. We support the integrity of all USA Sanctioned Judges until such time a written complaint, with documentation, is presented to the Board for review.
2. USA sanctioned Judges must be able to judge all entries fairly, without regard to the repercussions of their decisions and how they effect GroomTeam Points.
3. Our Competitions are not exclusive to GroomTeam Candidates. Three division, tiered competition is the cornerstone of our competitions and are geared for all levels of expertise.
4. Judges who do not share our beliefs in our contest structure should submit their resignation in writing to the Board and excuse themselves immediately from assignments at the All American Grooming Show.
5. The USA Board would never condone such unprofessional behavior by our Judging Panel.
